Recordee's Consent

Please get the recordee's consent in a lawful manner. By using Spectral, we assume that all recorded audios/videos were attained lawfully and do not bare any responsibility.

Consumer Data

Internally, audio/video files are stored in the TU Delft servers, where they are properly secured, meaning only the owner can access the file.

In addition, users comply that anyone that has access to the server also has access to all of the users data that is stored.

Data going to external services

While we are open source, we use services for transcription that are not. These are:

• OpenAI Whisper
• Deepgram

By using our services, users comply with their privacy policies. Please go to their website and read their policies.

Data does not get shared to any other services other than those listed above.
